Gotham Comics (Auckland, New Zealand)

This year we went with more local advertising and found that we had an increase in actually sales compared to visits.

We had a wide cross-section of our local community turn-up and show support for us and the local theater that we were taking donations for to help build a new sign to display upcoming events.

It was a real family day in the store, lots of people proud to have 1 of the 3 stores in our city in their own backyard.

Kids of the 70's and 80's remembering the comics they had read as kids, and they encourage their kids to read new ones and secretly started to pick up some of their childhood titles again.

We even had the Green Lantern of the South Pacific turn up to help support FCBD

Definitely doing FCBD again next year!
