"This was our first FCBD event, and we wanted to jump in with both feet. We contacted local creators Ron Marz, Aaron Lopresti, Andy Smith, Bart Sears, Brandon Peterson, and more to see if they would like to attend as special guests and meet fans. We had 10 guests in all….

"Our usual Saturday customer count at Yancy Street Comics is 35-40 people. This event brought in 600!!!! Lots of new faces, lots of children, and lots of free comics! The creators were happy, and stayed 45 minutes late to meet all the fans who waited to see them."
