Hello!
With help from our local comic book store Collector Maniacs,
McCully-Moiliili Library once again had a wonderful Free Comic Book
Day!!
I
selected six titles with a wide variety of subjects The Amazing
Spider-Man: Swing Shift, Legion of Super-Heroes in the 31st
Century, Owly & Korgi, Tokyopop: Choose Your Weapon,
Transformers: the Movie Prequel, and The Unseen Peanuts.
Our library customers presented their Hawaii State Public
Library card and got a fun and free reward!
FCBD
helped promote our branch in a creative and positive light! Because
libraries and comic books have such old-fashioned sterotypes, events
like this really help to change that image. Both public libraries
and comic books have something to offer everyone in all walk of
life!
